On the basis of secret information, Dakop police station arrested two drug dealers with 50 grams of ganja. There is a fugitive in the incident. The police arrested 2 people and sent them to jail.
According to the statement of the Dakop police station, on the instructions of police station officer in-charge Ujjal Kumar Dutt, on Monday afternoon (September 4), some people were selling ganja on the dhalai road in front of Faisal Sheikh’s house in Titapalli village of Chalan municipality. On the basis of such news, a smart team of police station, led by SI Vijay Krishna Karmakar of Dakop police station, along with ASI Md. Azmir Hossain, immediately conducted an operation at the scene of the incident. At that time, Anishur Rahman Sheikh (30), son of Ah Sattar Sheikh of Ward No. 2 in Pankhali Union and Chiranjit Sheel (19), son of Ajit Chandra Sheel of Titapalli area, were arrested with 50 grams of ganja while selling ganja. Another co-accused, Achabur Sheikh (35), son of Bakkar Sheikh (35) of Ward No. 2 of Pankhali Union, managed to run away from the scene after realizing the presence of the police. When the police questioned the two arrested persons, they mentioned the name of the absconding accused. In this regard, a case has been filed under section 19(a)/41 of 36 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act 2018 at Dakop police station. whose case no-2, date-04/09/23. It is known that two arrested people have been sent to Kot Hajt. Dakop police station officer in-charge Ujjal Kumar Dutta said that such operations will continue to control drugs.
